Update Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 with Android 4.4.2 CyanogenMod 11 ROM
Thanks to the XDA developer Mardon for releasing the Android 4.4 (KK) Unofficial CyanogenMod 11 ROM for the Galaxy Ace S5830 android smartphone. With this ROM you can enjoy all the latest features of Android 4.4 Kitkat on your phone. This one is the custom ROM not the official ROM from the Samsung. The Rom is only available for the Ace S5830 users and don’t try this rom on any of other Androdi smartphones. If you are the Ace S5830 user and want to try this new updated ROM on your phone, here is the complete working guide which you can apply on your device. To flash this rom you need a rooted device with latest version CWM Recovery 6.0.4.x installed.

CHECK PHONE MODEL
This guide is only for the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5830 android smartphone. Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. So, first confirm your phone model number in your android phone settings. To do this Go the Settings page of your device and check out the “About Device” option.
PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL SAMSUNG GALAXY DRIVERS
You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.
3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE
Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.
4. CHARGE YOU ANDROID
If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

INSTALL ANDROID 4.4 CM 11 ON GALAXY ACE S5830
Step 1. To Get started you need a rooted phone with CWM recovery Installed. You need the custom Recovery to flash the ROM and Google apps package. (Do a Google Search to root and Install CWM recovery)
Step 2. Download the ROM Package from here and save it on your desktop
Step 3. Connect your phone to the PC with USB cable and move the downloaded files on your device.
Step 4. Disconnect you phone and turn it off. Wait for few seconds and boot in recovery mode to flash the files.
Step 5. Now select Wipe data/Factory reset then select Yes.
Step 6. Now come back to the Recovery main menu and select the option Install zip >> Choose zip from sdcard and Locate the ROM file that you downloaded on step 2 and Flash it.
Step 7. After flashing the file on your device, go back to the main menu of Recovery and Select the “Reboot System Now”.
That’s all. Your phone will now reboot and at the first time the booting process will take some time. In case at the time of restart your device stuck on Android loop or stuck on Android boot screen, then follow this guide to come out of Android loop.
