Unroot and Go Back to Stock on Samsung Galaxy S6

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL SAMSUNG GALAXY DRIVERS

First you need to Setup ADB and Fastboot Drivers on windows PC. This will help you to send basic linux commands, and a variety Android specific commands from PC to connected Android devices.

Now you need to install the USB drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.

3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE

Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.

4. CHARGE YOU ANDROID

If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

Step 1. Download the ODIN flash tool here on your desktop and extract the folder.

Step 2. Now you need a Galaxy S6 Firmware file. Visit SamMobile’s firmware site, then search your device’s model number and download the firmware on your desktop.

Step 3. Once you’ve downloaded the firmware file, go ahead and extract the contents of the ZIP into a folder on your PC.

Step 4. Now boot your phone in download mode. To do this Power off you phone and press and hold the volume down, home, and power buttons simultaneously.

Step 5. Once the phone in download mode, connect it to the PC with USB cable and run the OSIN app on your desktop.

Step 6. From ODIN screen, click the “AP” button near the center of the window and select the firmware file that you downloaded on Step 2.

Step 7. Click the “Start” button at the bottom of the screen to begin. Now the flashing process will start on your phone and this will take some time.

Step 8. When it’s done, the box in the top-left corner of Odin will read “Pass,” and your phone should automatically reboot.

That’s it. Now your Galaxy S6 is unrooted and with Stock ROM.
