This guide is only for the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900T (T-Mobile) android smartphone. Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.


Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.



If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

Step 1. Download the Cf-Auto Root package for Galaxy S 5 phone here and extract the folder on your desktop. Here you will get the .tar.md5 file

Step 2. Download ODIN Flash tool here and save the folder on your desktop.

Step 3. Turn off you phone and boot it in Download Mode. To do this press and hold the Volume Down key, Home button, and Power button. You should see a warning triangle sign, press Volume Up to continue.


Step 4. Now connect your phone to the PC via USB cable and run the ODIN application on the desktop. When the device is connected successfully, the ID: COM box of ODIN screen will turn blue with the COM port number.

Step 5. From the ODIN screen click on the PDA or AP button and browse the CF Auto Rooted package (CF-Auto-Root-********.tar.md5) that your downloaded on Step 1. And make sure that Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time check boxes are selected in Odin. Also, ensure the Re-Partition option in Odin is not selected.

Step 6. Hit the Start button to flash the root package on your device. The flashing process will take some time, once the installation is done you will see the PASS message with green background on the ODIN application.

Now you can disconnect your device from the computer and your Galaxy fully rooted. In case at the time of restart your device stuck on Android loop or stuck on Android boot screen, then follow this guide to come out of Android loop.
