How to Root Galaxy S7/S7 Edge Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

ROOT GALAXY S7/S7 Edge
Step 1. Tap on the phone’s build number in Settings > About five times to enable Developer options. After that go to the Developer settings and enable “OEM Unlock”.
Step 2. Download Odin3_v3.10.7.zip and extract the zip folder on your desktop.
Step 3. Now download ‘CF-Auto-Root .zip’ file for your device model no. (G930F or G935F) from the below mention links. Then extract it to a folder.
Step 4. Boot Galaxy S7 into download mode. To do this Power off your phone and press and hold the volume down, home, and power buttons simultaneously.
Step 5. Now connect your device to the PC with USB cable and run the ODIN exe file that you saved in step 2.
Step 6. From ODIN screen, click the “AP / PDA” button near the center of the window and select the CF-Auto-Root-*********.tar.md5 file that you downloaded in Step 3. Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked under the Options tab.
Step 7. Click the “Start” button at the bottom of the screen to begin. Now the flashing process will start on your phone and this will take some time.
Step 8. When it’s done, the box in the top-left corner of Odin will read “Pass,” and your phone should automatically reboot.
Step 9. Once the phone is booted, open the google play store and Install the Super Su app. Open it, and you will have root access.
