Root Galaxy S4 I9505 and I9500 on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean Firmware
Recently Samsung released the 4.3 Jelly Bean Firmware update for Galaxy S4 I9505 and I9500. If you’ve updated your Galaxy S4 I9505 and Galaxy S4 I950O to the Android 4.3 firmware and looking for the tutorial to root your device again. The guide is pretty simple and doesn’t take so much time to complete the root process. All you hvae to Flash the Root file on your phone with the help of ODIN application.
NOTE:- There is one issue with this method, Latest android 4.3 update includes the KNOX security implementation which will be triggered if you follow the root process on your device, and it cannot be reset. This will void your phones warranty and you are not able to take your S4 to service center to claim warranty. And do take the backup of you application, contacts, SMS, Email, Pictures and video before following the root process.
Pre-requisites and Requirements

b) Once the backup files are saved on your device or on your desktop, Enable USB debugging mode on your device, read the guide here how to enable USB debugging mode.
c) Make sure that your Galaxy S4 battery is full charge or near about 60-70% battery level.
d) Download the Latest Samsung USB drivers on your PC and install it to start the update process. You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Root Guide
Step 1. Download the Rooting firmware package from the below mention links :-

Extract/Unzip the CF-Auto-Root on your desktop.
Step 2. Download the ODIN flash application here and extract the folder on your desktop.
Step 3. Turn of your S4 and Boot your Galaxy S4 into Download Mode. To do this press and hold Home + Power + Volume down buttons. Press Volume Up button again to enter into Download Mode.
Step 4. Connect the phone to the computer with the Original USB cable and run the ODIN application on your desktop.
Step 5. Now Load the rooting Package in Odin. Click on the “PDA” button on Odin and select the “CF-Auto-Root-************tar.md5” file. See the screen shot below:-
Next, ensure that the check boxes “Auto Reboot”, “F. Reset Time” and “PDA” are the only check boxes checked and the rest are not. And Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked on the ODIN application.
Step 6. Double check the above two steps carefully. After that hit the Start Button, sit back and wait a few minutes.
Step 7. Once you see the PASS message on your ODIN screen, disconnect your Galaxy S4 from PC.
Step 8. Now Go to the Play store from your phone update the SuperSu App on your device.
