How to Root AT&T Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge
Step 1. Download Patched version of Odin3 here and extract the folder on your desktop.
Step 2. Download the Samsung USB driver and ADB/Fastboot drivers on your Windows PC from the above mention links.

Step 11. Now click on the Start button in ODIN. The installation process will start and would take a few minutes to complete.
Step 12. When it’s done, the box in the top-left corner of Odin will read “Pass,” and your phone should automatically reboot.
Step 13. Once your phone booted up. Open the ADB folder in which you saved the Super Su files in step 4.
Step 14. Now press and hold ‘shift’ key and right-clicked anywhere in the folder and select ‘Open command window here’.
Step 15. Now from the folder run the root.bat file from the folder.
Step 16. Wait for the process to finish and then Reboot your device.
