PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL NEXUS DRIVERS

Now you need to install the USB drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.
3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE
Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.
4. CHARGE YOUR ANDROID
If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

Install Android N Developer Preview 3 On Nexus Devices
Step 1. Setup the ADB and Fastboot file on your Windows PC from above mention link “SETUP ADB & FASTBOOT DRIVERS ON PC”. This will create an ADB folder on Your Windows C Drive.
Step 2. After this download the Android N Developer Preview 3 system image for your Nexus device here
Step 3. Now unzip the system image file and paste all the files in your ADB folder that you created in Step 1.
Step 4. Connect your device to your computer over USB, And open the command prompt windows in the ADB folder. Do this by holding the shift key on your keyboard and right-click on an empty space and select “Open command window here” option to launch a command prompt window.
Step 5. Start the device in fastboot mode with the following command
adb reboot bootloader
Step 6. Now from the ADB folder run the flash file. “flash-all”
Step 7. Now the script installs the necessary bootloader, baseband firmware(s), and operating system.
Step 8. After the installation, your phone will reboot.
