PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL MOTO X DRIVERS

You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.

3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE

Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.

4. CHARGE YOU ANDROID

If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

INSTALL ANDROID 5.1.1 ON MOTO X

Step 1. To get started, you need a phone with Unlocked Bootloader, with TWRP recovery.

Step 2. Now download the DU_ghost_5.1.1_20150509-1901.v9.3-UNOFFICIAL.zip ROM File Here

Step 3. And after this download the Android 5.1.1 Gapps here.

Step 4. Connect the phone to the computer via USB cable then move the downloaded files to the internal storage of the phone and remember the location. Once done, disconnect your Moto X 2013

Step 5. Now boot your phone in recovery mode.

Step 6. From the recovery, perform a Factory Reset and Wipe the cache.

Step 7. Go back to recovery menu and select Install, Flash the Dirty Unicorns ROM and confirm installation. After that Flash the Gapps Package on the phone.

Step 8. Finally reboot the phone by selecting System then Reboot.
