So now you can update Galaxy Nexus I9250 to Android 4.4 custom firmware using the tutorial below.
In the below mention we will tell you how to update your nexus device with this Kitkat custom ROM firmware. Before you get started, you must know that these are the custom ROMs and does contain lots of issues. Pre-requisites and Requirements

c) Make sure that your Galaxy Nexus battery is full charge or near about 60-70% battery level.
d) Download the Latest Samsung USB drivers on your PC and install it to start the update process. You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide.

How to Install Android 4.4 KitKat Custom ROM on Galaxy Nexus
The tutorial is only for Galaxy Nexus (I9250, maguro), don’t try this method on any of your other Nexus Android smartphone. Make sure your phone is rooted and ClockworkMod Recovery is installed on your phone.
Step 1. Download the ROM of your choice and its Google Apps package from the given links:-
Step 2. Connect your phone to the pc via USB cable and move the ROM file and Google Apps package to your phone.
Step 3. Now turn of your device and wait for 5 seconds, boot the device in Recovery mode. To do this Press and Hold Volume Up + Volume Down and Power buttons. Or read Our Guide How To Easily Enter Recovery Mode on Any Android Device
Step 4. Once you are on Recovery Mode, Select wipe data/factory reset, followed by wipe cache and wipe dalvik cache from advanced.
Step 5. After this go back to the main recovery screen and select “install zip from SD card”.
Step 6. Install the ROM that you downloaded on step 1, followed by the Google Apps package.
Step 7. After the installation process is finished on your device, go Back tot he recovery screen and hit the “reboot system now” to reboot you Nexus.
That’s it! You should now be running Android 4.4 KitKat on your Galaxy Nexus.
