How to Install Android 4.4.4 ROM on OnePlus One
OnePlus today released a stock Android 4.4.4 ROM for their flagship phone One. The new official rom comes with some new features and improvements. For those who want that 100% pure Android feel on their OnePlus One device can install this rom. To update you device with this new room you need a rooted device with Custom Recovery. Check out our guide here to Root OnePlus One and Install TWRP recovery. Once the custom recovry is installed all you have to flash the ROM zip file on your device with Google apps. The process is simple and take few minutes to update OnePlus One with Android 4.4.4 ROM.

This guide is only for the OnePlus One android smartphone. Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. So, first confirm your phone model number in your android phone settings. To do this Go the Settings page of your device and check out the “About Device” option.
PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL DRIVERS
You need these drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.
3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE
Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.
4. CHARGE YOU ANDROID
If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

INSTALL ANDROID 4.4.4 ON ONEPLUS ONE
Step 1. As we mention above to get stated you need a rooted phone with custom Recovery. If you already have the rooted phone with custom recovery than go to the step 2, otherwise first root your phone.
Step 3. Move both the files on your phone storage.
Step 4. Reboot to recovery (power off, then power + volume down until it vibrates)
Step 5. From the recovery menu Wipe your device (incl. cache & dalvik)
Step 6. After than Flash both the .zip file one by one on your device. First the ROM zip and than Gapps.
Step 7. Once the flashing process is done. Reboot your phone.
That’s it. Now your OnePlus One is running on the Android 4.4.4 ROM.
