CHECK PHONE MODEL
This guide is only for the Oneplus X android smartphone. Don’t try this method on any of other Android devices, It may hard brick your device. So, first confirm your phone model number in your android phone settings. To do this Go the Settings page of your device and check out the “About Device” option.
PRE-REQUISITES AND REQUIREMENTS

1. BACKUP YOUR ANDROID DATA

2. INSTALL Oneplus X DRIVERS
First you need to Setup ADB and Fastboot Drivers on windows PC. This will help you to sendbasic linux commands, and a variety Android specific commands from PC to connected Android devices.
Now you need to install the USB drivers to connect your device with the computer to follow this guide. Without these USB drivers you can’t connect your device to the PC, first download and install these drivers on your system.
3. ENABLE USB DEBUGGING MODE
Now you need to enable USB debugging mode. Without enabling USB debugging mode on your device you can’t start the root, Custom ROM or Unlock process.
4. CHARGE YOUR ANDROID
If your device switched off during this process, it could damage or brick the device. Make sure that your Android battery is full charge or near about 50-70% battery level.

Unlock Bootloader on Oneplus X
Step 1. Set up ADB and Fastboot on your computer. To do this checkout link above in section SETUP ADB & FASTBOOT DRIVERS ON PC. Once the Files are installed on your PC you will see the ADB folder on your Windows C DRIVE (C:/ADB)
Step 2. Now enable USB debugging mode on your Oneplus X
Step 3. Now boot your phone in Fastboot mode. TO do this Turn off your phone and hold volume down and the power button simultaneously for 5-6 seconds. When you see the bootloader screen, connect your device to the PC using a USB cable.
Open the ADB Folder that you created in Step and open a command prompt or terminal window. Do this by holding shift key on your keyboard and right-click on an empty space and select “Open command window here” option to launch a command prompt window.
Now connect your phone to the PC and enter the following command.
adb reboot bootloader
Now your phone boots in fastboot mode.
Step 4. Now check if fastboot is working correctly. It should provide the serial number of your device.
Step 5. Now to unlock the bootloader enter the following command.
fastboot oem unlock
Step 6. Now Bootloader on your device should now be unlocked. Reboot your device normally with this command
